The Persian Gambit, On Sale Now!
I’ve always enjoyed “David versus Goliath” stories. Especially, I like stories that examine what unfolds when you place a “regular guy” in extraordinarily difficult circumstances with nothing except for his wits and determination with which to extricate himself. Throw in this mix an international love story, a super-rich villain, and locales on three continents and you have the basic formula for The Persian Gambit. Below the surface entertainment though, The Persian Gambit raises a crucial question, it examines whether in a world of widely divergent cultures and backgrounds, one filled with historic hurts that prevent even lovers from overcoming their differences, can there be hope for entire nations that view each other suspiciously?
